Hybrid Dance Marathon at FSU Event 2021
What: Dance Marathon at Florida State University is a three-day event that helps celebrate and fundraise for Shands Children’s Hospital and the FSU College of Medicine’s Pediatric Outreach Programs. Dance Marathon at Florida State University is committed to providing a safe marathon experience for each of our participants and miracle families. The weekend of March 5th-7th we will be hosting a hybrid marathon that will allow each of our participants to experience the marathon from anywhere.
When: The three-day event is broken up into two shifts. The Garnet Experience is the 10-hour shift beginning Friday, March 5th from 10 am - 10 pm. The Gold Tradition is the 20-hour shift that runs from Saturday, March 6th from 3 pm through Sunday, March 7th at 3 pm.
Where: With this year being completely different from all the others, we have transformed our marathon into a hybrid experience. With some events via Zoom, and some in person on the Old Intramural Fields, the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, and various Greek life sorority and fraternity houses at Florida State University. Our total reveal will be taking place on Sunday, March 7th at 3 pm.
Who: This event ran by hundreds of student leaders is put on for the students of Florida State University who reached Dancer Commitment of $250, and registered to dance. There will also be appearances from various student talent groups, miracle families, and university administration.
