What is Dance Marathon?

Dance Marathon is a year long student-led initiative which aims to raise funds for children in need of specialized pediatric medical care that is otherwise not available to them locally.

At Florida State, our movement culminates into a 30-hour event where over 1,800 students stay awake and on their feet "For The Kids"!

“We, Dance Marathon 2022, will unify as one to grow as an organization and establish new traditions that will leave a lasting impact for years to come.

We will strive to offer a home for all by staying dedicated to diversity and inclusion while embracing change and staying resilient to the changing nature of our world. By dedicating ourselves to keeping our cause at the forefront of the organization, we will help all members find their passion and community within Dance Marathon at Florida State University.

Through our best efforts, we will advocate for our beneficiaries: UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital and FSU’s College of Medicine Pediatric Outreach Program. We will maintain a bond that is as strong as our love for this cause and our miracle families. Above all else, we will create miracles and a brighter tomorrow For The Kids”
