  • How do I get involved
    There are many ways to be involved with Dance Marathon at FSU. During the summer, you can begin fundraising for the year. In the Fall, you can apply to become a captain or register to be a dancer. Anyone is welcome to participate in our community events throughout the year and to create a fundraising page at any time. In the Spring, there will be another opportunity to register to dance, as well as to apply to be a volunteer at the marathon. After the marathon, you can apply to be a part of the Executive Board, CORE Team, or apply as a delegate within your own organization. To learn more about how to get involved, please click here.
  • When does fundraising begin?
    Dance Marathon at FSU is a year-long effort! You can begin developing your online fundraising accounts during the summer.
  • What are ways I can fundraise?
    Fundraising is made easy through our online platform. Anyone is welcome to create an account and actively fundraise. Reaching out to friends, relatives, local businesses, and members of the Tallahassee community will help you to reach your fundraising goals! To learn more about fundraising tips, please click here.
  • Do I have to be a part of an organization
    Anyone is welcome to participate in any capacity with Dance Marathon at FSU! When registering to dance or as a fundraiser, you are able to join with an organization, as an individual, or as a team captain for your own organization. All organizations on Florida State University’s campus are encouraged to participate! Any student is able to apply for any position within Dance Marathon at FSU as well.
  • How do I register to a dancer and a fundraiser?
    Yes. In order to be invited to dance at Dance Marathon, a dancer must raise at least $300 For The Kids! This involves creating a fundraising account, as well as registering to dance. Click here for more info on how to register to fundraise and dance.
  • What is a Miracle Network Dance Marathon?
    Dance Marathon at FSU is proud to be recognized as a Miracle Network Dance Marathon. We are one of the five-founding Dance Marathon’s in the nation fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. There are over 300 Miracle Network Dance Marathon’s across the country!
  • Do you really stand on your feet for 20 hours?
    As a dancer, you pledge to remain standing for 20 hours in honor of children who cannot. The marathon is full of excitement and extremely rewarding! You are welcome to dance, participate in activities, watch local bands, play morale games, and more - as long as you remain on your feet!
